Why this site exists
Freight and customs information online is usually written to sell a service, or it assumes you already know the jargon. This site answers one question per page, puts the answer first, and shows where the numbers come from.
It is also a live experiment. I track how AI search tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode) pick their sources for logistics questions, and use what I learn to improve these pages.
How the articles are written
Each article is researched from official sources, such as the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, and published industry data. Sources are listed at the bottom of every page.
Rates and fees are typical ranges, not quotes. Always confirm with your carrier, forwarder or customs agent before you ship. If you spot something wrong or out of date, tell me and I will fix it.
